Chester King - Managing Director

Chester has over 19 years senior management experience within the advertising & marketing and sports & leisure industries. He is an owner and Board Director of the International Group of companies, which include Stoke Park, International Hospitals Group and International Packaging.

After leaving university Chester worked for International Advertising Limited and gained significant experience and knowledge in advertising, direct mail and sales. As well as working for numerous upscale hotels, his clients included Renault, Sainsbury’s and the RNLI. In 1994 he received a Royal Mail award for one of the most successful direct mail campaigns for the Year.

Chester then went into the hotel industry as Operations Manager for Alexander House Hotel in Sussex, which was voted "one of the top hotels in the UK" by Johnasons for having the best service.

Since 2000 Chester has been Managing Director of Stoke Park. In conjunction with Stoke Park Chester has been involved for the creation, marketing, selling and operating of number of Clubs in Great Britain. These include The Bobby Moore Club (formerly the Corinthian Club) for Wembley National Stadium, Alfred’s for Alfred Dunhill and Lord’s for M.C.C..

Chester has also set up and manages a number of key sporting and social events. These include The Boodles, Golf Live and many charity events including the Ashes Golf Day. Chester has had consultancy roles with Alfred Dunhill, Jaguar and the Kingdom of Bahrain.

In 2010 Chester was asked to join the Advisory Board for the Jaguar Academy of Sport with Lord Digby Jones, Sir Keith Mills, Dame Kelly Homes, Colin Jackson, Tim Lawler and Geoff Cousins.
He also helps raise funds for SportsAid.
